My family ran an aquaculture and catfish farm, where broken equipment did not care what time it was. My father retired after 33 years in electronics at Robins Air Force Base. My mother worked there in supply and logistics. I grew up seeing that skilled work is equal parts knowledge, preparation and showing up until the job is finished.
